We choose to use “mtext” ahead of “text” because of its annotative function. This means it can be scaled along with other objects in AutoCAD. If you find out that your “mtext” cannot be scaled, then you should try out some of these steps:
- In the Command line: enter “mtextcolumn” and set it to zero (0).
- You can also right click on your text and click on properties. In the properties dialog box, scroll to “columns” and change its value from “dynamic” to “0”. You will see four (4) grip arrows show.
Now you can test your “mtext” to see if it can now be scaled.
